**PLEASE NOTE IMPORTANT UPDATE TO THIS WALK**
After careful consideration, Morris Animal Foundation has made the decision to cancel its local K9 Cancer Walk series. The South Florida K9 Cancer Walk will be our last event.
You can still register for or donate to the South Florida K9 Cancer Walk. Your registration fee still supports cancer research. You still can fundraise individually or as a team to benefit canine cancer research. We will not have vendors, speakers, entertainment or refreshments at the walk.
If you have questions about the South Florida K9 Cancer Walk, please contact Annie Li, Events Coordinator
Cancer ends the lives of more dogs than any other disease. More than 6 million new dog cancer diagnoses are made each year. By participating in and fundraising for this walk, you can help increase Morris Animal Foundation's capacity to invest in science that will help prevent and treat cancer and other diseases in dogs.
For more than 65 years, Morris Animal Foundation has been working to advance the science that is improving animal health. Much progress in veterinary care has come as a result of research funded by Morris Animal Foundation. The foundation has invested more than 92 million dollars to fund more than 2,400 studies in cats, dogs, horses and wildlife. Many of these studies have led to breakthroughs in diagnostics, treatments, and preventions and cures to benefit animals worldwide.
